i used a lot of burlap on christmas projects this year, and had a couple of extra roses, that i made, so i used one on this card.   the heart is cut out from some old brenda walton-(k and company) paper.

the cute stamped frame is from unitys "december kotm-just be you", and the sentiment is from unitys "birdy inspiration", which jen was sweet enough to send to me:)  ok, now, keep reading...

FWF {Christmas Eve style}

Hello, friends:}

It's Savannah here sharing a quick Christmas gift that I made for my friend and her new family. I love this Unity set Togetherness Families. How cute are those little squirrels?? I paper pieced each animal and even highlighted the tails with a gold and Souffle' pen. LOVE how this turned out. And the best part is that is fits perfectly with All Things Unity's #21 challenge--Holiday Theme [anything but a card]. This is a 2D photo frame. All my friend will do is replace the photo on the front. Easy and it will match her home decor with this metal star photo stand. LOVE it!

Not sure you can see it--but I used gold/Souffle' pens on the tails and glossy accents on the polka dots.

Holiday Friends With Flair - Dec 17

Good morning Party Peeps! Carole here with another project for ATU #21 to share for FWF today. You know the drill, right? For a full list of blogs with Unity mojo, check out the Unity blog.

My little gift box is made with Unity/Jillibean Soup co-branded stamp kits Snowflakes Fall from Heaven and Countdown to Christmas.
We here at All Things Unity just can't get enough Unity goodness, so we're hoping you'll be inspired by everything you see and will take the time to come play along with our current, holiday-themed challenge.

It's really easy. Just create something new, using Unity or {ippity}, and link up your post or gallery photo with Mr. Linky at the bottom of this post for ATU #21. If you do post your project to an online gallery, please make sure to use the keyword ATU21. This challenge ends at 11:59 pm on December 25 - that's Christmas, folks!

By the way, we certainly don't mind if you combine our challenge with other challenges, just so long as you follow the current parameters, (mentioned above) and don't back-link to old projects.

FWF {November 26}

Hey everyone, Carole here with my first ATU FWF! How's that for a mouthful of alphabet soup? Just wait...it gets even better. It's really a CAS PDC FTL EIC ATU FWF. You see, it's a clean & simple card using the colours from this week's Play Date Cafe and the layout from Clean & Simple Stamping (FTL117), inspired by the Christmas cookies in this week's EtsyInspired Challenge shop, here at All Things Unity for Friends With Flair.

It didn't come out exactly how I wanted it to...I haven't quite figured out a method on how to get one ink inside a stamp with another on the outside - and get two different embossing powders where I want them at the same time. I really wanted to emboss the inside of the tree in silver. The first time I tried it, I ended up with a rather lovely all-silver tree. Not what I was looking for!
I used Joy & Wonder, which is not on sale this weekend, but check out what is!!

I used Unity's bird from the October 10 KOTM along with the sentiment from Happy Everything. I love that burlap tag! SO FUN! Love these colors too!

I found shari caroll’s great video tutorial to make this photo/gift card holder. mine doesn’t look anything like her card , but I followed the basic construction steps she showed.

I love the new jillibean stamps and papers, and that’s what I’ve used here.you can put a family pic on the front of the insert and a gift card on the back.

hi everyone!  first, i want to thank everyone who played along on the last challenge!  for this challenge, we want to see monochromatic cards!  all you have to do, is make a project or card using  monochromatic colors!  you have until  11-13 midnight to link up your card below.

IT'S TIME FOR FWF AGAIN!

It's Cathy here with my very first post EVER! I'm so honored that I'm apart of ATU DT and get to share my love for Unity with all of you. For this card I used this week's Ippity Pink Challenge IHHC4.

My niece is having major back surgery and I thought this girlie girl bird would brighten her day. I used Ippity Music of my Heart, Just wanted to Say, and Now & Always sets. I just love how the different sets can be combined with others.

I hope everyone has been having a good week.  It’s been an interesting one around here at All Things Unity.  First I would like to take this time to say thank you and good bye to two extremely wonderful people!!  I have really enjoyed having them on the team and I know that we will continue to see exciting things come from them.  So in the great cheese factor it’s not goodbye Andrea & Kyra, however I know we’ll continue seeing all your awesome creations!!
